What is AACD?

In 1984, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry was formed to fulfill its mission by offering superior educational opportunities promoting and supporting a respectful accreditation credential.

Accreditation

The accredited dentist is dedicated to continuing education in the rapidly evolving field of dentistry. They have gone to extensive training in the field of art and science of cosmetic dentistry. They have to go through testing processes of written and oral examinations, as well as clinical case presentations. The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) has over 10,000 general members and only about 220 accredited members worldwide.
