SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA - If you knew fixing common signs of aging like yellowed teeth and wrinkles around the mouth was as simple as getting a few cosmetic dental procedures and correcting dental problems, would you do it?
“You don’t have to inject chemicals or resort to traditional plastic surgery to get fast, dramatic results,” says Dr. Khalil Sage (Saghezchi), a San Jose dental professional since 1988.
It may seem too good to be true-the results of plastic surgery without the pain or silicone-but cosmetic dentistry techniques really do help you feel healthier and look younger, relieve facial muscle pain and give you a great smile.

Do You Know Oral Cancer’s Signs And Symptoms?
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA-Dr. Khalil “Dr. Sage” Saghezchi is urging people to learn the signs and symptoms of oral cancer and get routine screenings for the deadly disease because early detection could save a life.
“It’s the best way to catch oral cancer in the pre-cancer stage, when survival rates are highest, between 80 to 90 percent, and the side-effects of treatment are lowest,” the San Jose dentist says.
Approximately 37,000 people in the U.S. alone will be diagnosed with oral cancer this year, according to the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Facts and Figures research. That means more than a hundred new individuals each day, and oral cancer will claim the life of one person every hour of every day.

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA - Dr. Khalil “Dr. Sage” Saghezchi wants to raise awareness about eating disorders and share a message of hope for those with teeth severely damaged because of their disorder.
“Eating disorders can be devastating to oral health with some changes to the mouth showing up within six months,” says Dr. Saghezchi, who is a san jose dental care provider.
Feb. 26 to March 3 was National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, a campaign to break down barriers to getting treatment for eating disorders.
There are several types of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, which is characterized by self-starvation and excessive weight loss, and bulimia nervosa, which is a cycle of bingeing and compensatory behaviors such as self-induced vomiting. Anorexia and bulimia can be life-threatening illnesses that affect both genders and have a major impact on the entire body.

The Cosmetic Dentist Difference: Why You Should Choose An Accredited One
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA—Many people do not know whether they should choose a general dentist or cosmetic dentist for procedures like veneers, dental implants or crowns.
Dr. Khalil “Dr. Sage” Saghezchi, who is a cosmetic dentist in San Jose, says that people leaning towards a general dentist might not be aware of the differences between the two and how much the final results may vary.
“An excellent general dentist will deliver high-quality, functional restorations,” says Dr. Saghezchi, who founded his practice, Smile Gallery, in 1988. “But cosmetic dentistry is a blend of science and artistry, so a cosmetic dentist is the best way to get the most natural-looking, aesthetically-pleasing smile.”
Cosmetic dentistry procedures include tooth-colored fillings, veneers, dentures, teeth whitening, laser gum reshaping, dental implants, bonding and more. Some are strictly cosmetic, but many of them are also used for restoring damaged, broken or missing teeth.
