Dr. Sage graduated from San Francisco's University of the Pacific in 1988 with honors. After opening his practice he joined the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the largest association of dentists specializing in cosmetic dentistry in the world. He is one of the 220 accredited members of the association worldwide - and one of only a very few accredited members in Santa Clara County County - and has published articles in several prestigious cosmetic dentistry journals. Co-founder and former president of the association's Northern California branch, he is an adjunct professor of cosmetic dentistry at his alma mater, frequently lecturing student and professional groups on cutting-edge dentistry techniques.

Dr. Sage says working with patients allows him to use his teaching skills as well as his technical ones. "I work with patients to design their smiles, whiten teeth, and build confidence," he says.
